Panthers Are Wise Scholars (PAWS) – is our tutorial, intervention, and enrichment time built-in during the school day Tuesday – Friday.  PAWS is a period of time allocated during the day for students to receive extra support, review content, strengthen skills, prepare for a test, make up work when absent, and enjoy enrichment activities. Now more than ever, our Panthers need structure, organization, and help with managing their time.
 
Newhart Middle School is using Enriching Students to schedule our PAWS tutorial sessions.  Students will be able to schedule their PAWS sessions from 4:00 PM on Thursdays to 11:30 AM on Mondays. It is the expectation that all students will schedule their sessions prior to 11:30 AM on Mondays.  Students who have not scheduled their sessions by the deadline will be called to the office to complete this process and may receive a disciplinary consequence. Students can always ask for help scheduling PAWS from their teachers or at the front office.
